Dr. Radisti A. Praptiwi (Adis)
Adis attained her PhD in Applied Environmental Microbiology from Robert Gordon University (RGU), UK in 2014, whilst working part-time as a research assistant at Centre for Understanding Sustainable Practices (CUSP) RGU carrying out a feasibility study between UK and Indonesian institutions on the implementation of marine energy in Indonesia. After completing her PhD, Adis received an Australia Award Endeavour Research Fellowship for her postdoctoral research in South Australia (SA) Water, Australia undertaking research on harmful algal blooms (HABs) in water treatment plants. Currently holding a research fellow position at CSERM, she is involved in research on ecosystem services and currently works in developing networks for research on appropriate technology for remote communities and HABs in Indonesia. Apart from CSERM, Adis is also affiliated to Indonesian Man and Biosphere (MAB) Programme National Committee and Department of Biotechnology – Universitas Esa Unggul.
