Jakarta [UNAS] – Research assistant from C-SERM Universitas Nasional, Kiki Rezki Lestari, attended the Newton Fund Workshop entitled Newton Fund Day – Preparing a Competitive Proposal which was held on Thursday, 9th June, 2016 at The British Council Indonesia.
This workshop was held by The British Council to help Indonesian researchers prepare competitive proposals in response to UK funding opportunities as well as understand better about the Newton Fund Programme which includes the mechanism, differences between strands under the fund, understands better about the opportunities under the fund. The workshop was led by Dr. Windo Hutabarat, Research Fellow in Manufacturing Informatics at Cranfield University, UK. In this workshop, he shared the tricks and tips to increase the possibility of proposals acceptance and how to find the right research partner from UK universities. The workshop was attended by around 30 researchers from all around Indonesia.
